Bologna won over Fiorentina 2-0. Thiago left on the banch the enjured Calafiori replacing him with Lucumi and confirming Saelemaekers and Orsolini from the first minute. Against Fiorentina is always an intense battle but today they had a Dodo (out) and mainly a Bonaventura less.. less ready than other times. On our end, the squad played very well without special mentions: defence particularly ready, midfield rapid in the counterattack, etc, etc. Confirmations for the great moment of Orsolini and the bravery of Odgaard attacking the space in the box (and out). Zirkzee a little too nervous but he is studying to become a big one. Thiago apart the dress didn't miss a change..

Bologna won over Lecce for 4-0. Thiago presented himself with the full squad (apart Aebischer) and proposed Saelemaekers and Orsolini from the first minute. The games is in one only direction from the first minutes. Bologna is a able to score most of the clear goal opportunities and easy to say Orsolini best player of the match. However, the point of view of the fan is to clarify here: true, we like strikers that score with easy but let me say that most of all we like players who play for the team and give all for it, including respecting the decision of the team manager. It could be too easy to say about Orsolini without memories of his egocentric reaction toward the banch at the time of the first goal, or not mentioning Zirkzee because he didn't score althought he gave everything all around the field, in the difence too. Said this probably Orso is a little sacrified in the "duel" with Ndoye and sincerelly we hope to see Thiago opening to a nice Osolini on the right with Ndoye moved on left side where he started to play the beginning of the season. Sad and "hot" to see Thiago dressed like Pioli but with all the four beatiful goals we can also forget it, for now.

Bologna vs Sassuolo finished 4-2. Thiago welcomed again Posch and chose Fabbian and Urbanski forward. Sassuolo presents itself very well causing sufferences that last for almost 50min. Lets come to the tragedy: this team is often a diesel and without the right propellment in attack (see Salesmaker and Orsolini entrance then) the squad doesn't roll the ball from the midfield and victim of itself shows easy mistakes. But luckly we have the magic and Thiago and his vice know its formula.. This time there is no great mentions about individuals except maybe the brave heart of Fabbian and Ferguson. The rest of the goods and the bads is about the full squad's believes, lets call it a "Zirkzee day". Indeed, always fantastic watching to the first score of Saelemaekers and finishing the game two goals ahead. Great victory indeed.

Milan vs Bologna finished 2-2. Thiago chose De Silvestri to replace Posch and Urbanski and Fabian to complete the attack. The game was played well by both the teams and this means Bologna was able to deliver a same level football of a big one like Milan, with the end of the first half much nervous for the penalty given to Milan (costed the expulsion of Thiago too). Best performances for Skorupski and Zirkzee; a little nervous Lucumi entered along the way.

Cagliari vs Bologna finished 2-1. Thiago without forwarders chose Van Hooijdonk and Urbanski to attack and he confirmed Lucumi and Calafiori in the middle of the difence. The full defensive block apart Lucumi appears immediately not ready, sometimes nervous but looking Posch, Calafiori and Kristiansen performances also out of condition. Orsolini, Urbanski, Freuler and Lucumi great game are not enough to save a Bologna that Thiago needs to restore.

Bologna is out from Tim Cup after a nice game against Fiorentina. Special mention to Aebisher and Ferguson that litteraly drove all the Bologna counterattacks pushing the full squad forward.

Bologna vs Genoa finished 1-1. Thiago chose Ravaglia as goalgeekper, Lycogiannis on the left side and Lucumi in place of Beukema; in the middle Fabbian replaces Ferguson and ahead Urbanski is prefered to Saelemaekers. The first half seems the replica of the game against Udinese apart the good performances of Lucumi, Calafiori and Fabbian. In detail Posch, Freuler and Moro but also Urbanski and Zirkzee did less than average; Ravaglia had some implications on the goal; no one cross arrived decently in the Genoa box. Second half Thiago was able to change face to the game by the new entries and the different Posch and Freuler's approach. Said of the bad day for Zirkzee, best strikers this time are the two wingers, Calafiori and De Silvestri.

Udinese vs Bologna finished 3-0. Thiago proposed Kristiansen on the left side and Urbanski in place of Ndoye. The game is decided for Udinese by two fast actions both at the beginning of the first half and second half. Lets say that Udinese played the part of Bologna very well this time and surprised in "counterattack mode" a not so brillant Bologna. Saving only Skorupski, Ferguson and Zirkzee.

Bologna won over Atalanta for 1-0. Thiago confirmed the squad of the last appearances with the only insertions of Skorupski in front of the door and Lucumi completing the defence. The reciprocal respect between the two teams is immediately clear: a first half enjoyable while the second time Atalanta makes us suffer. News was to see Lucumi often set on the left side. About the players, Skorupski literally saved the result by a great performance and Ferguson got back to his fame with final goal; Calafiori less ready than the average apperances often late in the interventions, with a couple defensive mistakes make all suffer.

Bologna won over Roma for 2 - 0. Thiago gave a chance to play to Ravaglia with the rest of the squad confirmed. This time all the squad merits a mention, no one excluded: Zirkzee confirmed his moment doing also an excellent defender; Ndoye did one fantastic assist and the usual hard work; the usual Saelemaekers; Moro missed only to score the second goal; Freuler, Ferguson, the same Ravaglia and all defence block.

Bologna won over Salernitana for 1 - 2. Thiago reshaped the middlefield with Freuler and Moro; ahead Zirkzee, Saelemaekers and Ndoye were a constraint. The game tast of the comics of Zirkzee, indeed it turn immediately in favour of the BFC with two of his magics: the first one an easy tapin on a shot by Posch; the second a stolen ball on a difence mistake. Then, when the game is lacking of emotions while Bologna is managing to take the three points to home, Pippo Inzaghi ordered its goalgeeper to advance to middlefield to deal with every procured free kick. Zirkzee was at his best game, while Posch and Ferguson corfirm the negative moment. I personally heard some fans taking a medal to Saelemaekers that despite all the received kicks was able to finish the game on two legs.

Bologna vs Lecce finished 1 - 1. Thiago proposed Lucumi in place of Beukema and confirmed Aebisher, Fabian and Ferguson in middlefield; Van Hooijdonk as forwarder. The squad is mainteined live only by Calafiori, Aebisher and Ndoye in the first half. It is worst than the average of the last appearances: many errors and the mddlefield doesn't run the ball; ahead Van Hooijdonk and Saelemaekers are always passive, out the game. Second half Thiago changed squad and Bologna started to play: they verticalized with more easie and the results arrived, anything new? Ferguson confirm the negative moment. The game was not closed in time and lost by us. Worst and useless the final attack to referee and VAR indeed.

Bologna won over Torino for 2 - 0. Thiago proposed Aebisher, Fabian and Ferguson in the middlefield with the rest of the squad confirmed. Indeed I personally do not like to play against Torino because the game gets soon much physical, however it was nice: first half time seemed the remake of the last appearances with good defence, nice interceptions but very few ideas attacking. Second half Bologna started to verticalize with more easie and the results arrived. Happy for Aebisher, Fabian and Zirkzee performances. Ferguson less present than usual. Memeories from the last Uefa classification: respect from the referee is useful too and today it was.
